Health workers of ESI Uluberia to be trained for HDU-ICU by Sanjiban Hospital

Superintendent of Uluberia ESI Hospital has given the responsibility of training (HDU-ICU) the health workers of ESI Uluberia to Sanjiban Hospital to prepare the staff against the much speculated third wave of Covid-19. It is a rare example set by WB Govt, mentioning "I am sending the under-mentioned health worker of ESI Hospital Uluberia for HDU-ICU training with effect from 07.06.2021 to 30.06 2021 for the interest of Covid 19 patients."

Two of them are Medical officers, three nurse staff and three GDA staff members. This responsibility has been provided to Sanjiban in the recent wake of successfully curing innumerable Covid patients. Sanjiban Nursing School has also played the role of a catalyst behind this achievement.

Speaking on the occasion, Director of Sanjiban Hospital, Dr. Subhasis Mitra added, "In spite of being a private hospital, we have been selected by the Govt of West Bengal to train the health workers of ESI Hospital of Uluberia. It is an honour for Sanjiban and reassures us about doing the best to cure Covid patients. We will try our best to do justice towards the responsibility we have been assigned with."
