Kolkata : Acropolis Mall, India’s one of the premium malls has set the stage rolling for the fourth edition of the Street Food Festival, Chatpata. The festival will continue till November 13. Foodies can tingle their palates with tantalizingly tasty dishes every day from 12 noon to 10 pm these three days.
Food entrepreneurs like “Calcutta delicacies”, “Hot Lebanese”, “Buddy bites”, “Eagle bites”, “Nalin chandra Das”, “Poush Parbon” , “Roy pan stall” , “R.k chaat Center” and Turkisyano "have participated in the street food festival and displayed their mouth-watering dishes to pamper the palates of people.
A wide array of delectable dishes ranging from Italian items to Lebanese and continental and even our own Indian food items are there for gastronomes in the city. Some of the signature items include Peyare Kebab and Gondhoraj fish kobiraji , Mutton kebab wrap and honey chicken wings from Hot Lebanese, and Chicken feast pizza and garlic prawn from the kitchen of Eagle Bites Pizza. Calcutta Delicacies a food start up from Kolkata would lure foodies with Chicken Tandoori Fry and Gandharaj chicken while R K Chat center will satisfy people with its quintessential street food items like Dahi Papri Chaat and Dahi Puchka. Desserts like Gurer Jol Vora Sandesh and Chocholate Sandesh from Nalin Chandra Das & sons are there for people with sweet tooth. Turkis yano , with its inimitable style would present Turkey’s special ice cream. Roy Pan Stall is also there with its signature item mango pan and smoked paan apart from other varieties.
