4 th Architectural Design Competition - Häfele STAR AWARDS NIGHT

Kolkata : The Annual Häfele STAR AWARDS comes back this year with more glory, more excitement and more vigor. This initiative, started in 2017, was conceptualized by two young minds from Hafele – Chandrani Das and Rahul Sengupta – is aimed at developing & building stronger relationships with the prestigious Architecture Body of DIA&ABID. With 3 successful, consecutive runs and a short gap last year due to the pandemic, Häfele returned with its 4 th Chapter that was held in Kolkata on the evening of 19 th November 2021. Veteran architects Mr. JP Agarwal and Mr. Alok Sen shared the spotlight as the unprecedented Architects of Bengal. They, along with 9 others were presented awards in different categories at the 4th Architectural Design Competition – Häfele STAR AWARDS. This flagship event

 recognizes the creative and successful talent across the state and encourages upcoming designers. It is one of the few regional awards shows of its kind that has served as a launch pad for several eminent interior designers and architects of the region and continues to be a trail-blazer for the 4th consecutive year. The awards were given under many categories – Best Design in Residential Projects, Best Design in Kitchen Projects, Best Design in Office/Corporate Projects; Best Design in Hospitality Projects, Upcoming Creative Minds of The Year and Lifetime Achievement Awards. The well-deserved winners are: Best Design in Residential Projects: Arch. KaushalSinghal (ManojSinghal&Asso.); Best Design in Kitchen Projects: Barkha&Mukhesh Agarwal(Embee Design) and Sujon Kumar Mondal(3S Interiors); Best Design in Office/Corporate Projects: Pooja Bihani(Spaces & Design) and Deborup Das( Internal Affairs); Best Design in Hospitality Projects: Tamal Chaudhuri(ATCA) and Tawsif Hossain(Studio Sculpt); Upcoming Creative Minds of The Year: AtreyaSaha (3 rd Year student of architecture); Lifetime Achievement Awards: JP Agarwal(Agarwal & Agarwal Architects) and Alok Sen.
