New Town: A unique cultural initiative titled ‘Boimelay Bhojbaji’ has begun at the City Square Ground, New Town, offering visitors a refreshing blend of literature and culinary delights. The event brings together the aroma of books and the flavours of diverse cuisines, creating an engaging experience for both book lovers and food enthusiasts.
The book and food fair will continue from December 25 to January 4. Organised by Your Voice Trust, the fair features participation from several renowned Bengali and English publishing houses based in Kolkata. Alongside books, a wide range of popular food brands and emerging food entrepreneurs have set up stalls at the venue.
Visitors can explore and purchase books while also indulging in a variety of delicious food options. The fair has also seen the participation of various educational and cultural institutions, adding depth and diversity to the overall experience.
During the festive season, ‘Boimelay Bhojbaji’ has emerged as a vibrant platform celebrating the convergence of knowledge, culture, and taste, quickly becoming a new attraction for residents of New Town and the city at large.
