Kanpur : Pt. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava, a distinguished scholar and practitioner of Jyotish (Vedic Astrology), has been honoured with the prestigious “Jyotish Mahamahopadhyaya” Award, one of the highest accolades in the realm of Astrology and Ancient Indian Wisdom. The award recognizes exceptional proficiency, profound knowledge, and meaningful contributions to the timeless sciences of Astrology, Vastu, and Palmistry.
The honour was conferred during
the 75th National Jyotish Conference, jointly organized by the Padmesh
Institute of Vedic Sciences and the Soumitra Dubey Foundation. The award
ceremony was graced by the Former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh &
Rajya Sabha MP Shri Dinesh Sharma, along with Shri K. A. Padmesh Dubey, widely
regarded as the Bhishma Pitamah of Jyotish, and many eminent luminaries of this
sacred science.
Pt. Dr. Srivastava expressed his
deep gratitude, saying, “This recognition is beyond my imagination. Only
Gurudev’s blessings made this possible. It is not just an accolade but a sacred
responsibility to illuminate lives, inspire growth, and uphold the rich legacy
of Jyotish for generations to come.”
The title “Jyotish
Mahamahopadhyaya”, meaning “Great Great Teacher” or “Grand Master of the Lamp”,
is a Sanskrit honorific bestowed upon experts demonstrating mastery in Jyotish.
This recognition empowers Pt. Dr. Srivastava to continue his mission of ‘Every
Home One Astrologer’, bringing the wisdom of astrology closer to people around
the world.
He also expressed heartfelt
gratitude to his Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji, family, students, friends,
