Bastar - The Naxal Story floats in the magic of Bisakh Jyoti's tune

MUMBAI: Following the box office success of "Kerala Story," audiences are eagerly anticipating the release of the new film "Bastar - The Naxal Story." Directed by Sudipta Sen and produced by Vipul Amrut Lal Shah, the film boasts a stellar cast and crew. National Award-winning music director Bisakh Jyoti took on the challenge of composing the music for the film, which is centered on the Naxalite movement of the 70s.

Bishakh Jyoti's task was to create songs and background scores that captured the essence of the story. The film features three songs, including "Vande Veeram" sung by Javed Ali and "Dandakaranya" sung by Kinjal, Ankan, and Bishakh Jyoti himself. These songs, penned by Amarnath Jha, offer a glimpse into the film's narrative. Additionally, there's a song titled "Hile Le," with lyrical recreation by Anant and sung by Bishakh himself.

The film's heroine, Adah Sharma, alongside Bishakh, is poised to surprise audiences with a new musical offering. Bishakh expressed his gratitude for being entrusted with the role of music director for such a significant project, stating, "I am lucky that my director and producer have trusted me for such a big budget film like Bastar. I am thankful to my music team who worked tirelessly day and night to bring our vision to life."

With its compelling storyline and powerful music, "Bastar - The Naxal Story" promises to captivate audiences and shed light on an important chapter in history.
