Kolkata : Durga Puja , the Unesco tagged festival that cuts across all religions and cultures, has witnessed display of over enthusiasm, joy , exuberance and ecstasy across all housing complexes of Merlin Group. Merlin Er Sera Pujo 2022 that has stepped into fourth year has organized a Puja visit by celebrities and members of Merlin. The passion, the emotion, and the spirit that oozed out of all Puja organizers across Merlin housing complexes captivated celebrities and members of Merlin Group clad in traditional attire as they paid visits to over 16 apartments of Merlin.
Merlin Group organised a Puja Parikrama by actor Anindyo Chattopadhyay and actress Sayantani Guhathakurta on Mahashasthi, Maha Saptami and Maha ashtami of Durga Puja to adjudge the fourth edition of “Merlin Er Sera Pujo 2022 Sera Pujo Award”. They roamed around 16 housing apartments .
Merlin Group, India’s leading real estate conglomerate instituted “Merlin er Sera Pujo”, a recognition to inspire the puja organizing committees across selected Housing apartments of Merlin in West Bengal in 2019. The aim was to add up to the spirit of celebration of Durga Puja in Housing apartments in an innovative way. This is the fourth year of the award. Merlin Warden Lakeview in Ultadanga, Merlin Uttara in Konnagar, Merlin Maximus in sodepur, Merlin Jabakusum in New Alipore, Merlin Iland in Picnic Garden, Merlin Legacy on Dr Suresh Sarkar road, Merlin Waterfront in Shalimaar, Howrah, Merlin Sapphire at Parnashree, Behala, Merln Twins, Merlin Laurel Garden in Behala, Merlin Crest in Behala, Merlin Vasundhara in Behala, Merlin Emerald in Shibrampur, Merlin Crest in Behala Merlin Basundhara in Behala ,Merlin Aspire in Takdhari and Merlin 5th Avenue on Mahisbathan near Sector V participated in Merliner Sera Pujo award competition.
The sound of intense beats coming from the dhak mixed with the aroma of the dhunuchi lit , women Clad in the most beautiful attires, adorning the heaviest of jewels and thickest of bangles with sindoor and bindis on their temple and the quintessential taste of the traditional Bhog prepared with devotion transformed the experience of the judges and officials of Merlin into a surreal one. The unleashing of emotions and ecstasy after a spate of two years due to Pandemic was quite interesting.

The Unesco award to Durga Puja , the first one in entire Asia added to the revelry and We take pride in being the part of Kolkata. We also witnessed huge energy and joy among the residents of Merlin Housing complexes in organizing the Durga Puja across Kolkata, Howrah and Hooghly.
