 Zindagi’s upcoming original Mrs & Mr Shameem has been receiving appreciation and support from both viewers as well as critics for its portrayal of a unique love story. The show which will be premiered on Zee5 on 11^th March 2022, features leading actors Naumaan Ijaz and Saba Qamar (cast opposite Irfan Khan in the Bollywood blockbuster Hindi Medium). Having worked with an incredible star cast and a unique story, Director Kashif Nisar recently got candid on his favourite Bollywood pair who he would have liked to cast in Mrs & Mr Shameem if given the opportunity.

Sharing his thoughts Kashif Nisar says, “India has some of the most incredible and diverse talent as of today. We get to see so many new debutants each day and enjoy their stunning performances. Likewise, if I had a chance to cast actors from Bollywood as the lead of Mrs and Mr Shameem I would have definitely cast Alia Bhatt and Ayushmann Khurrana. At a very young age Alia has proved herself as a strong performer and each of her role is different compared to her previous one. On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana has always touched upon subjects which are challenging and allow him to prove his acting talent.
