HyperXchange one of the market leaders in Indian refurbished Electronics Gadget & Marketplace ramps up its Senior Management Team before Series A fund Raise

Kolkata: HyperXchange the dominant player in the Indian refurbished electronics gadget and marketplace has seen a significant increase in its revenue since the pandemic and is now geared to take the leadership position in the thriving refurbished electronics gadgets space.

Since the beginning of the year, the company is growing 100% MoM and is poised to take the leadership position in the market both GMV and Revenue wise. Keeping its commitment of taking the brand, now to the Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities through franchises and introducing its patented Hardware and software-based tool Faraday to the community, it has started ramping up its leadership positions.

Rana Dutta

Last month it onboarded Rana Dutta, a veteran in the Indian Startup ecosystem and the ex-cofounder of Movinture and Tiyo as Senior Vice President of Growth, Strategy Community Building. Mr. Dutta is spearheading the new venture opportunities, consolidating the leader board position of HyperXchange, and is responsible for creating the HX Community of Users, including buyers and sellers.

Mr. Dutta is also working closely with the board on building a sustainable plan to take HyperXchange to the new horizon. Commenting on ramping up the leadership team Dipanjan Purukaystha CEO and Co-founder of HyperXchange said," We are now ready for the next phase of growth and we need people who have successfully created brands and companies before and be a partner in our progress. The company received its Seed Funding from the family office of CP Gurnani, CEO,  MD of Tech Mahindra. The company is incubated by IIM Kolkata’s Innovation Park. The company was among the top 10 startups at Collison New Orleans 2018, winner of the Retail Startup of the Year 2020 award, presented by RAI. Mr. Purkayastha the cofounder and CEO was awarded Emerging Entrepreneur of the year by TIE in 2020 and last year co-founder Satanik Roy featured in the Forbes’ 30 under 30 list for 2021, both in Forbes Asia and India.
