Medica Superspecialty Hospital, the largest superspecialty hospital chain in Eastern India has conducted the most number of vaccination in March amongst all other private hospitals in Kolkata. The COVID vaccination had started in Medica from 22nd January 2021. Medica has conducted 20 sessions on vaccinations from 1st March to 20th March and has vaccinated 13792 people. Out of 13792 vaccinated beneficiaries at Medica, there are 1468 healthcare workers, 116 front line warriors, 10875 people aged above 60 plus and 1333 people above 45 with commodities. The second phase of vaccination started in Medica from 1st March onwards with people above 60 plus and 45 plus with comorbidities. Medica had also started round the clock vaccination from 8th March onwards.
