 erstwhile Metro Cinema is all set to welcome the movie lovers of Kolkata and evoke the same magic it used to from the time it was built in year 1935 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM). The vastly renowned structure, redeveloped by the Metro Realty Group, in consultation with eminent heritage architect Subir Kumar Basu, will house 2 impressively designed screens with a total of 422 seats. Each of the 2 screens in the multiplex are soaked in comfort and equipped with the best-in-class cinema technologies for sound and projection Keeping with the rich legacy of Metro and its history with the people of Kolkata, the multiplex has been designed with a modernized feel, seamlessly merged into the carefully restored yet authentic essence of the original Metro Cinema. Metro INOX now offers the perfect mix of legacy and luxury. The cinema guests will be marvelled at the sight of the grand lobby on the ground floor.
