Mercy & Visionorganized to feed over 1200 people on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti

 Mercy & Vision organized to feed over 1200 people on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti   On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, a city based social welfare society, Mercy & Vision organized to feed 1200 under privileged people at New Alipore.  The initiative was taken up by Lions Club of Howrah. 

Besides feeding the hungry people, blankets was also distributed among 300 elderly people, juices and cakes were distributed among 1100 children.   According to Mr Atul Dalmia, President of Mercy & Vision “On the occasion of Makar Sankranti we are very grateful to such an initiative for the less privileged section of the society as the festival must be happy and joyful for all of us. Adding on he said we are hopeful to take more initiatives to spread smiles for th
e welfare of the society.”
